Following his album Re-Birth released in February, OTON delivers his second album B-Sides, released on 17th March. The twelve-track LP display a more breaks-driven, jungle-led vibe to his approach. These days the Belgian DJ, producer and co-founder of the label Alliance Club is mostly aligned with super-fast, psytrance-tinged techno, but B-Sides affirms OTON’s versatility as a producer. "'B-Sides"' can be interpreted as a ‘figure de style’ of the breakbeat, footwork and jungle sound," says OTON. "It belongs to a past time when I was digging these sub-cultures mostly related to the Amen break and the Lyn Collins break, and when I had the most well-known Blu Mar Ten jungle sample pack as my go-to sample pack. This is definitely a piece of work that would probably be lost on my hard drive, but instead, I released it to show the versatility of the producers."
